Remembering Iain Banks

It was sad, of course, that the Guest of Honour slot for Iain Banks at the World SF Convention was in memoriam for this wonderful man and writer. He’s a huge loss to us and the wider literary community but left behind an extraordinary legacy of books. With the Con over we thought it would be fitting to mark the end of this wonderful event by celebrating, again, Iain Banks. Gollancz is absolutely delighted to be attending LonCon 3 this weekend, in support of our very own guest of honour: Malcolm Edwards Guests of honour are selected for their outstanding contribution to the genre, and have made a wise choice for the 72nd World Science Fiction Convention.
